Annex to R&D 2020-2022 is already a fact
The Board of Directors of the Bulgarian Medical Association and the Supervisory Board of the NHIF signed the annex to the National Framework Agreement 2020-2022 for medical activities.
The annex enables medical establishments to contract with the cashier for such a structure of the beds as they worked during the cow waves, within the total number of beds in hospitals, no more. Such a measure is in the implementation of the strategy of the Ministry of Health for bringing the system to meet a possible wave. Thus, on the one hand, the treatment of complicated patients with Covid-19 will be guaranteed, and on the other, no delay and protection of the treatment of other diseases will be allowed.
Other changes that are introduced with the annex are:
The prices of clinical pathways for treatment in the intensive care unit of patients with Covid-19 are increased, with the cost of a clinical procedure 3 of 550 BGN. 4 - from 250 to 300 BGN per day.
There is also a serious growth in the prices of pediatric cardiac surgery. Fetal morphology in pregnancy, mammary ultrasound, anesthesia tolerability test are also part of the Anex arrangements of the R&D.
Health insured persons will be able to have a vaccine against Covid-19 with each general practitioner, and hospital care facilities, which, by order of the Minister, reveal vaccination offices for immunization against Covid-19, will receive a fee for this activity. And more: Doctors will be able to issue patients electronic directions for free antigenic tests for Covid-19.
The amendments to Ordinance 8 will also come into force with the annex on preventive examinations and dispensary, which include the expansion of the package of NHIF activities for children, pregnant women and people over 18 years of age, as well as for some specific groups as persons at risk of malignant neoplasm.
