Bulgarian medical union expresses its profound condolences to the family, the colleagues and relatives of Prof. Galina Chaklova; The University Specialized Hospital for Active Oncology Treatment.
Prof. Dr. Galina Chakalova graduated from Medicine in 1984, and after 1986 he acquired specialty in "obstetrics and gynecology". In the clinic of Gynecology of Subborn, he worked since 1987 when he was appointed a research fellow after a competition. In 1993, he successfully defended a dissertation to acquire the educational and scientific degree "Medical Science Candidate" on "preclinical cervical cancer". In 1994 he acquired a specialty in "oncology". In 2002 he was appointed Head of Staff at the Gynecology Clinic. In 2007 he was elected Assoc. ІІ Ст., ("Associate Professor" with the entry into force of the new sights). In 2007, after a competition he held the head of a clinic of gynecology. In 2007-2008 he performed the head of a stationary block. In 2013 he has been chosen as a professor of oncology. At the same time, since 2004 he was an expert on assessment and accreditation of medical establishments in 2010 acquired a master's degree in UNWE in Business Administration with specialty "Health Management", and in 2013 he also acquired a Master's degree in "Public Health and Public Health and Healthcare Management".
Prof. Chakalova is Chairman of the Management Board of the Oncogenology Association, Member of the Management Board of the Oncology Association, member of the Company in Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as ESGO and BUON. Member of the Oncology Scientific Council. Member of the Government Examination Committee on Obstetrics and Gynecology. Member of the International Journal of Gynecology & Clinical PRACTICES Editorial Board and is a secretary of oncology magazine.
He is the author of the Monograph "Oncogenicology", the only manual of epidemiology, diagnosis and complex treatment of malignant tumors of female genital organs. She is the author of 35 chapters in books, textbooks and guides, and over 350 scientific publications and reports abroad and in our country related to gynecology and oncogynecology. Has over 100 quotations abroad. Prof. Chakalova introduces in Bulgaria (1993) the organ-soluble operations in cervical cancer and local immunotherapy in HPV and predetermine changes in cervix.
The big family of Bulgarian doctors lost a colleague and friend unreservedly devoted to medicine and their patients.
