BLS expresses condolences to the family, relatives and colleagues of Prof. Ivan Kozovski
Bulgarian medical union expresses its deep condolences to the family, the colleagues and the nearby Prof. Dr. Ivan Kozovski - a doctor committed to medicine, teaching and patient care and the cause for more babies. Prof. Kozovsky left us at the age of 83, leaving a bright trace and an example of a worthy road.
The beginning of his professional career began in the University of Berlin and passed as an obstetric-gynecologist in the hospitals in Aytos, Pomorie and Gergi. Since 1970s. is an assistant at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of MU-Varna, and since 1986. is assignor. He was the head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Its main scientific developments are devoted to the echographic study in the AG, Cesarean section, postoperative infections and their prophylaxis, urogenital fistulas and assisted reproduction technologies.
Prof. Kozovsky is the author of and co-author of studies in obstetrics and gynecology. Member of the American Reproductive Medicine Association (AARM), the European Association of AG (EAGGO) and Deputy Chair of the Republican Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has been elected "Medic of the Year" in 2000.
