There have been requests from doctors from Ukraine to work in Bulgaria. This was reported in the air of BTV Radio the President of BLS Dr. Ivan Madjarov.

"This happens in an informal way, we have directed them to the Ministry of Health. One of the requirements is to have Bulgarian language and separately have the treatment of the Horarium, there is a committee to the Health Ministry. From the GLS we would call without reducing the requirements for these colleagues, the procedure to be accelerated. This can do for them at this critical time in which they are pressed by the war, "added the Chairman of the BMA.

For the treatment of patients from Ukraine, Dr. Madjarov explained that there is a problem with those who do not apply to acquire status.

"In most cases it is that they want to acquire such status in another European country but at the same time are in Bulgaria. Then, everything is at charity level. Bulgarian doctors will not refuse assistance to a person in need that is forced to leave his country. All cabinets of Bulgarian doctors and hospitals are ready to serve such citizens, "he said.

"At this point there are no requests to our organization of colleagues, especially from Ukraine, who would like to work in Bulgaria," said Chairman of the Board of the Bulgarian Association of Health Care Professionals Milka Vassileva.
