Dr. Ivan Madjarov: It is most important to pay attention to the way of introducing new technologies
"In all new technologies, there is an invention first, then limited consumption, then massive and finally the benefits. We do not have a lot of time to walk these stages. It is normal for such a sudden change to have concerns. Some people are worried about transparency because they will track them, others - that they will be told what to write and how to treat, but there are also people who worry that we will keep the old with the new. " This was stated by the Chairman of the BMA Dr. Ivan Madjarov during the Digital Health Forum, organized by Capital.
"The most important thing is to pay attention to how new technologies are introducing. We need to remove the old processes. The new process of storing a patient file in the NZIS is something that will eliminate the need to store the paper file because the evidence is stored elsewhere, it is guaranteed digital. If we can change the environment in which the innovations will be made, we will guarantee that this process will not fail, "he added.
The chairman of the BMA was among the participants in the first panel of the Digitization of Bulgarian Health Forum with moderator Dr. Alexander Simidchiev - Deputy. -Chairman of the Health Committee of the 47th National Assembly. The forum also includes Prof. Asena Serbezova - Minister of Health, Bozhidar Bozhanov - Minister of Electronic Government, NHIF Governor Prof. Petko Salchev and others.
