A big step toward the home of the Bulgarian doctor
121 years after the founding of the Bulgarian Medical Union, the medics will finally have their home. The 74th Council of the professional organization decided to invest and give a mandate to the Board of Directors of the Bulgarian Medical Association for the beginning of negotiations for the purchase of a building of doctors in the capital.
All the details and parameters of the upcoming negotiations are in the process of clarification. The purchase of a building from the Bulgarian Medical Association is not bound in any way with the plot in the yard of the Medical Academy, which is owned by the professional organization and at which time it is not possible to build a building for a lawsuit.
The Bulgarian Medical Association is the second established worldwide association of medics with over 32,000 members at the moment, which for the first time, after more than a century, will have their own home.
