The demands of the GLS for a fair distribution of savings from health insurance payments were met

Thanks to the common efforts of regional medical colleges and the management of the professional organization and after a four-month coherent work and the assertive position on the part of a Bulgarian medical union for a fair distribution of savings from health insurance payments, the demands of the class were fulfilled, and the struggle crowned with success.

Ultimately, the funds voted by the National Assembly in the NHIF budget for 2021 in the different directions will be paid to each participant without allowing their transfer to the following year. This is recorded in the signed today by the Bulgarian Medical Union and the Supervisory Board of the Health Case Methodology for allocating the remaining funds for health insurance payments at the end of the year of executors from primary and specialized outpatient care.

The principle embedded in the methodology is based on the activity performed by any performer in outpatient aid since the beginning of the year until the end of November.

The allocation of funds is done through a comprehensive approach where a different burden of activities carried out in primary and specialized outpatient aid in line with the priorities under which the health system works at the moment.

We call on all colleagues, doctors, carefully to get acquainted with the deadlines in this methodology to be ready to react in a timely manner and obtain their own funds.
