Over 53 per cent of the medics in Bulgaria are vaccinated against Covid-19
According to data provided by the Electronic Health Directorate at the Ministry of Health as of 27.07.2021. With a completed vaccination cycle, there are 34,043 doctors and healthcare professionals or over 53 per cent of the medics in Bulgaria.
Data also show that there are 41,117 doses of different types of vaccines against Covid-19, with a completed vaccination cycle being 20,453 of them. Total doctors in Bulgaria, officially registered in the BMS register as of 27.07.2021. are 32 724 . This means that over 62 per cent of doctors in Bulgaria are vaccinated against treacherous disease.
According to BAPZ, healthcare professionals in the country are about 32,500 . According to the Electronic Health Directorate as of 27.07.2021. With a completed vaccination cycle thereof are about 14,590 or nearly 45 per cent. Total doses are 29,536.
The medical officers who confirmed the new coronavirus in Bulgaria are 13,467 . Of these, 3864 doctors, 4559 nurses, 2255 sanitaries, 290 poles and 2499 Other medical staff.
