The National Council of the BMA seeks early termination of the powers of the manager of the NHIF Prof. Petko Salchev
Unanimously, the members of the National Council of the Bulgarian Medical Association voted to submit a request to the parliament, the Governor of the Cashier - Prof. Petko Salchev to be released early from the post of manager of the NHIF. The decision was taken during the National Council of the professional organization, which was held on 17.12.2022 in the city of Plovdiv.
During the next week, the motivated request for the early termination of the term of office of the Governor of the cashier Prof. Petko Salchev will be submitted to parliament.
During the National Council of the BMA, all 28 district colleges of the professional organization once again reaffirmed their position and supported all the actions of the organization's management.
The Bulgarian Medical Association stated strongly that, in case of failure to comply with the requests of the professional organization, it reserves the right to effective protest actions, including in front of the National Assembly building.
