“It's never too late for a better life”
"It's never too late for a better life" is an extremely important message for patients diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy as well as their families. Therefore, the aspiration of the initiative will be to provide up -to -date information on the specifics of the disease and modern treatment options, will meet them with established specialists and patients who have undergone the test of the SMA.
The campaign "Never Late for a Better Life" is organized by the Choose Bulgaria Association and is carried out on the initiative and with the financial support of Rosh Bulgaria. The partners of the initiative are the patient organization "SMA Bulgaria" and the Bulgarian Medical Union.
The main focus and purpose of cooperation will be to inform GPs about the new treatment options, which is of particular importance as they could have long -diagnosed patients who have not been treated so far to specialized neurological assistance and to the respective committees to obtain the right to free treatment.
The Deputy Chairman of the Union, Dr. Nikolai Brunzalov, will also be one of the interlocutors of the podcast "Never late for a better life", where key topics for patients diagnosed with SMA will be discussed.
