Official Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria
OPEN LETTER
Dear Mr Prime Minister,
We, Bulgarian doctors, are strongly bitter than your words, said during today's blitz control in parliament, namely: "Wars are many, but in that of health, soldiers carry another type of uniforms and give another type of oath. Hippocratic oath requires self-sacrifice. "
Mr. Premier, Please not confuse army with medicine. Nowhere in the hippocratic oath is not a self-sacrifice on the part of the medics. We recommend you to get acquainted with her before saying what we are hitting and talking about sacrificing. A sacrifier we are showing every time we take our workplace. A sacrifice we have shown in several epidemic waves and in initial complete obscurity around the disease. A sacrifier they showed over 120 medics who lost the battle with Kovid-19 . Such speaking is not only offensive, it is unacceptable. In the heavy battle that leads colleagues around the world, no leader has allowed such a statement.
Mr. Premier, In connection with what you have: "Which Bulgarian medical union do you mean? One who a few months ago has participated in the preparation of the new methodology or anyone else? "And against the backdrop of the complicated epidemic situation in the country and the tension created among the first line colleagues from which we have many signals that they do not receive 1000 We want to state: At the request of the Ministry of Finance, meetings were stated on which we were strongly stated that money for the first line medics does not have and they will be stopped. Any speculation that the initiative for this is of the BLS does not answer the truth. Talks on the subject were led for two months, again at the request of a Finance Ministry and Minister Katsarov and NHIF on May 18, May 20, May 25, June 1, June June 22, 23 and 29 June. At all meetings we have firmly have not agreed to reduce the money for colleagues working on the first line. The cases that became known in the public space for outstanding 1000 leva are as a result of the interpretation of the NHIF.
In conclusion: Bulgarian medical union insists on an immediate apology from the official Prime Minister Mr. Stefan Yanev! Bulgarian medics do not deserve such a cynical attitude especially against the backdrop of destroyed lives of our colleagues and their children who will no longer see their parents!
