Protective masks have become mandatory in public transport in Sofia since July 25

Facial safety masks are obligatory to wear in public transport in Sofia on Monday. This is stated in an order of Dr. Dancho Penchev, Director of the Sofia Regional Health Inspectorate. Wearing masks is optional for children under 6 years of age.

The rest of the order, which was issued days ago - remains in force - for wearing safety masks in health and medical establishments, as well as in specialized institutions for the provision of social services, pharmacies, optics and drugstores.
