A record number of future doctors will fund a Bulgarian medical union under the Program for Assistance, Training and Building Leadership and Communication Skills for 2020-2021.
A total of 100 future doctors from the 5th and 6th course, specialty "Medicine", will receive a monthly scholarship of BGN 150 over a period of 9 months. Thanks to the additional financial support received, the program shall be extended and, by decision of the BMA Management, since 23.04.2021. Thus, the total number of scholarships is already 100 . By comparison last year, financial incentives received a total of 45 future doctors from all over the country.
Under the conditions of pandemic and rising public expectations to doctors, further strengthens the need to stimulate future doctors who prove to be the most useful in COVIDs and thanks to their youth enthusiasm and good expertise are actively involved in mastering situations .
BMA thanked partners in the project without which helping young physicians would not be possible - Roche Bulgaria, Novartis Bulgaria, Abdu Bulgaria, Amdzen Bulgaria, Janssen Bulgaria, Bayer Bulgaria, Gideon Richter, Sanofi Bulgaria, Pfizer and Astra Zeneca Bulgaria.

We remind that all year round the financing of participations in national and international scientific forums of young doctors up to 35 years, specialists who have not completed their specialization, PhD students (regular or self-preparation), which have a training contract and is dedicated to the date of the submission of the application.
