Leading medical professionals from Europe and the world exchange experiences at the 11th Congress of Southeast-European Medical Forum, which will be held in Bulgaria.
The Congress is organized by the SWEF and will be held in the period 08 to 11 September 2022, in Plovdiv and in the town of Smolyan.
The scientific program of the event is interdisciplinary, aiming to get acquainted with the latest scientific and practical developments in different fields of medicine.
Among the main topics of the forum are:
- Epidemiology, infectious diseases, immunology;
- Covid -19 - the consequences and beyond science;
- Cordology;
- Oncology;
- TRAMA, chronic pain, emergency medicine;
- Sexual and reproductive health;
- Violence against doctors;
- Refugee problems.
Within the event, a round table will also be held on the topic: "Public Health - National, Regional and European Priorities".
Official non-governmental organizations, representatives of the Bulgarian state and local institutions and authorities have already confirmed their participation in the 11th Southeastern European Medical Forum. There will also be: Representatives of the Medical Associations from Southeast Europe, Heads and Members of the World Medical Association, the European Forum of Medical Associations, the Standing Committee of European Doctors and the European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture and Education-Mrs. Maria Gabriel.
Reports in the individual panels will be presented by over 30 leading university lecturers, prominent representatives of medical academic circles, heads of medical establishments, health managers from Bulgaria and abroad.
The scientific program of the forum will be held at the Congress Center - International Fair Plovdiv.
Participants in the Congress will be able to enjoy the cultural and historical heritage of the city of Plovdiv-the European Capital of Culture 2019. The Vienna Philharmonic Virtuosos event with its exceptional outdoor performances at the ancient Ancient Theater in Plovdiv.
