Bulgarian Medical Association expresses its deep condolences to family, colleagues and relatives Prof. Dimitar Petkov.
He graduated from the Medical Faculty in Sofia in 1967 and began working at the Department of Radiology of Jesul, then brought a cabinet of radiology at the Department of Gastroenterology at the Medical Academy, came the Department of Computer Tomography, Abdominal Ultrasonic Diagnostics and Angiographic Studies "at the Department By X-ray in Ma, in the period 1994-1999, he was a medical director, and from 1999 to 2001 - Executive Director of Alexandrovska Hospital.
Assoc. Prof. Dimitar Petkov first introduced magnetic-resonance imaging diagnostics in Bulgaria.
