Bulgarian medical union expresses its deep condolences to the family and relatives of the Multivated Doctor and Friend - Dr. Dimitar Ignatov, honorary chairman of the professional organization and one initiators for its recovery 32 years ago.

With tremendous pain and grieves we met the news of our colleague's death. He left our exclusive physician, man and business. A person with a wide soul and heart that has always defended the interests of the medical profession, with the clear belief that they are interests of the whole society!

Dr. Dimitar Ignatov was born on 01.12.1940. Surgeon in a specialty person with an active civic position.

Dr. Ignatov is one of the revernors of the Bulgarian Medical Union. In 1992 he was elected chairman of the Cultivated Organization and was at the forefront of GLS 10 years. Later he has been awarded the title Honorary President of the Bulgarian Medical Union.

Last year on the eve of the day of the Bulgarian doctor - 19 October and on the 120th anniversary of the creation of a Bulgarian medical union, Dr. Ignatov received a specially crafted statuette and a certificate from the professional organization - revival of the BMA.

The dedication, humanity and love of the class remain a lasting trace in our consciousness and will continue to be an example of us!

The Governing Board of the BLS expresses his most sincere and deep condolences to the family and relatives of Dr. Ignatov.

The grief is insurmountable and the loss is on the whole of society! Neither he nor will his work be forgotten!

Bow in front of his memory!
