BMA insists on immediate action by the Prosecutor's Office in connection with a case of cruel aggression in a doctor's office
Bulgarian Medical Union has seized the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Bulgaria and insists on immediate action by the competent authorities because of the verbal and physical aggression practiced against Dr. Ivaylo Ivanov in his office in the village of Novo Selo, Rousse.
Of videos published on social networks is seen how two people enter the general practitioner's office, they begin to shoot it, asking him questions and in the presence of the nurse leads to physical aggression accompanied by a continuous verbal attack and refusal to leave the cabinet.
Bulgarian medical union is categorical that he will not tolerate doctors to be humiliated, subjected to harassment and souls while trying to do their job and insisted on the law to be applied with its entire strictness!
The swell of offensive words, accompanied by killing for murder and prison, the exchange of fists and the experience of spiritual spirit are inadmissible!
The professional organization is clear that such aggression is ugly, humiliating, extremely unacceptable, crossing all limits of normality and insists on rapid action by the Prosecutor's Office. BLS is committed to the legal defense of Dr. Ivaylo Ivanov, as well as any other doctor who is subject to violence. The whole organization, with all available resources, will make sure to be liable to the guilty.
We recall that calls for exercised aggression over doctors and healthcare professionals can be submitted on a phone 02/9 07 07 07. They will be immediately transmitted to the Chief Prosecutor, according to the signed agreement between the GLS, MH and the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Bulgaria.
