A doctor of 82 years to help patients
At the age of 82, but nevertheless working in your office every day to help patients. This is the everyday life for Dr. Yordanka Yordanova, who is the only personal doctor in her native village of Dragoevo. With more than 50 years of experience, she says that working is not just a vocation but a way of life.
We work in the morning and afternoon so that we can serve patients from the area because five villages have already been collected. I would not prefer another profession, that is. We are medical alignors for over 50 years and we are always among our patients, we deal with them, "she said.

More than 1000 are the patients for whom Dr. Yordanova takes care of. Among them, Stoyan Stanchev, who says that during the Covid pandemic, the team Yordanova-Zakova saved him.
"2020, if it wasn't for this doctor I wouldn't be here," he said.
The work of 82 years is an important responsibility, says Dr. Yordanova. She advises young doctors not to be afraid to work in the countryside and says she is not thinking of terminating her practice for now
