Elena Beleva, in addition to the folklore performer, is also a vocal educator and practically the first singing teacher of little Maria.
8-year-old Maria-Yoana begins to visit folk dances and then feels the powerful effect of the folk song on her. Five years later, he started playing the accordion and rediscovering his current hobby: "... And I really realized that this was my thing. You can't explain it ... You just feel it is a part of you. "
For the beauty of folklore
Maria loves to perform songs from all the folklore regions of Bulgaria, because the song of each region has its own ornamentation, which resonates with the heart differently. But ... the Rhodope songs touch the most sensitive string in the soul of the young doctor in contrast to the raw majesty of the Rhodopes. The folklore of this area is characterized by less pronounced ornamentation than the Thracian and Strandzha, "But their songs and dances are beautiful ... so beautiful." And the carriers of this mountain spirituality are "very good, open and welcoming people with good and warm hearts." The weakness for this folklore area has gone through not only the songs and dances, but also its life and culture.
Maria loves solo and multi -headed singing equally. In her hometown of Haskovo, she was part of the folk choir at the local community center. Today it is part of the Folk Choir "Veselie" to the MU - Plovdiv and together with the academic dance ensemble they organize joint performances.
It is a place to thank Prof. Todor Kirov, Department of Folklore at the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts-Plovdiv, who is also the head of the National Choir at the Medical University-Plovdiv. He gave me a lot of skills, knowledge and has developed what I can. And still, with his help, I upgrade my artistic qualities ._
The talent of the future doctor took her to various places in the country and at festivals in Italy, Greece, Turkey, France and Russia, where they captured the hearts of foreigners. Today, time is not reaching because Maria - Joanna is in the final rights of her studies and must steal from the time of her hobby.
