Between medicine and theater
Spontaneously, this is how most good ideas are born. Ideas that change the gray everyday life and remind you that life is not just a job and examinations of patients.
Six years ago, Dr. Orlin Kozhuharov decided to organize an entertainment program with the doctors of the Ruse Association of GP. Once a year, medics gather to make important decisions for the organization. However, before the essential part, some doctors export a short performance. The idea is to combine the pleasant with the useful.
This is not a theater, but rather a sketch, a va, a burlesque or as you call it. The script is ours and is related to our daily lives. His goal is to entertain colleagues and help them get rid of the stress of last week, says Dr. Kozhuharov.
The doctor who stood behind the idea
Dr. Orlin Kozhuharov was born and raised in Ruse. At school he had an interest in biology and chemistry. This focused him on medicine. After graduating, he began work on distribution in a rural health section. He spent 2 years there and then another one as a district pediatrician. A little later, Dr. Kozhuharov enrolled in the Infectious Department of the Ruse Hospital, where he worked for 10 years, and since 2000, for nearly 20 years, he has been a general practitioner.
He loves his work in a white apron, but the passion for the theater, lit in his college years, does not go out.
It is not my hobby. My hobby is history, philosophy and esotericism. I can write and write stories. I deal with show programs. Then we created a group with my friends who made fun of certain events or in establishments. So we earned some lion and we took a lot of awards, the doctor says.
And so the student venture is revived years later, when Dr. Kozhuharov has already been implemented by a doctor. He offers his colleagues to have a show program in which everyone has a designated role. And the goal is to unload and unite the team.
When I talked to them, I was able to see who likes to do what. I was able to get the best out of them and easily convinced them, I just knew which people to invite, _ explains the doctor.
To examine patients with different problems, I think everyone, even if he is not a doctor, will agree - it is stressful. Tension different specialists extinguish with different activities. Dr. Kozhuharov chose the theater. He also convinced many other doctors that it helps.
When we are rehearsing with our colleagues, we are actually unloading perfectly. They have more fun when we rehearse, it is more fun than the performance itself._
