BLS supports the demands of doctors from RHIF and NHIF to increase wages
At its meeting the Board of the Bulgarian Medical Association took the following decision:
The BLS supports the fair demands of colleagues working at the Regional Health Insurance Fund and the NHIF. The evaluation of their work is offensive and shows ignorance of the responsibilities they carry. Paying them does not correspond in any way to the huge load they are subjected to.
Along with the need to increase the salaries by the BMA, we believe that it is necessary to reform and rationalize the state in the RHIF in the country, optimization and facilitate the work processes of colleagues working in these structures. The solution to the problem does not go through the appointment of hundreds of new employees, offensively low salaries. Such a step will not lead to a better organization of work and will not satisfy the workers there, but on the contrary - it will aggravate the already cumbersome structure.
