Dr. Rosen Iikov: The national campaign against violence against Media goes again in September
In the last few years, there has been a tendency to reduce cases of violence against doctors, but this should not reassure us, Dr. Rosen Aikov, a member of the Board of the Bulgarian Medical Union, told Radio Stara Zagora. His words are about the latest incident of verbal and physical aggression on a physician days ago in Shumen.
Dr. Aikov explained that the BMA has an agreement with the Ministry of Health and the Prosecutor's Office for quick action in the attack on a medical.
He also said that the professional organization provides free legal assistance to injured medics, and that the national campaign against violence against doctors would be restarted in September.
