Over 34 000 lv. Gathered the campaign "for the children of heroes in white"
16 children of medics who lost the battle with Covid-19 receive financial support on Christmas Christmas. Just a year ago, on the eve of the brightest holidays, Bulgarian Medical Union, with the support of Nikki Kanchev, the Bulgarian Association of Health care professionals and volunteer organizations "Because we are people" and "Thank you for having" launched the initiative for financially Supporting the children of the deceased by COVID-19 medics under the title: "For the children of the characters in white".
For one year, BGN 34,700 were collected. 16 children between 4 and 17 were helped.
For transparency, all the collected funds from the initiative were allocated by the Bulgarian Medical Union and Nicky Kanchev to the children of the deceased Bulgarian medics.
Each child receives financial support of over 2,100 leva.
On the eve of the bright holidays it is difficult to find solace when fate has marked forever children. The initiative "For the children of heroes in white" can not return the most valuable: their children's father, the mother in the family. But he may give way to the good and human in each of us.
